Welcome!

The Wallingford Community Council (WCC) of Seattle is a neighborhood voice representing the greater Wallingford community in interactions with city government on land use, transportation, and parks.

Monthly meetings

The WCC has monthly open meetings where all members of the community are invited and encouraged to participate. Whether you are a novice or an expert, please join us the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have met virtually using Zoom. As soon as we are able, we will resume meeting in person in Room 202 of the Good Shepherd Center, 4659 Sunnyside Ave. N. To get a topic or an issue on the agenda, please use our Contact Us form.

Our history: 40 years and counting

You already know what a special place our neighborhood is in which to live, work, go to school and play. A good neighborhood doesn’t just happen. For more than 40 years, Wallingford neighbors have joined together to improve and protect our community through the Wallingford Community Council (WCC), a non-profit community organization of volunteers.

The WCC provides a place and process for neighbors to engage with each other to address neighborhood opportunities, challenges and issues. The WCC has a history of helping to shape city policies and decisions affecting our neighborhood.
