Monthly Meeting (Wednesday, October 5, 7PM)

Location: Room 202 of the Good Shepherd Center, 4659 Sunnyside Ave. N.

7:30pm: Special Guest: Lemmis Stephens III, Find It, Fix It Program Coordinator, Seattle Neighborhoods Outreach & Engagement – to talk with us about the program and the Mayor’s November walk in Wallingford (no date as of yet).

8:00pm: Special Guest: Spencer Williams /Legislative Assistant to Councilmember Johnson-District 4 to talk to us about the upcoming urban village community design workshops (formally charrettes).

    • Recycling! Goodwill Clothing Van: Sat, Oct. 15, time 1-5:00pm at Seattle First Church of the Nazarene (the parking lot behind Dicks’s) – volunteers needed! The #1 Junk Removal in Kansas City | Demolitions – Rubbish Cleanouts are taking the responsibility to make this successful.
    • Lincoln School: SPS Forum to Answer Questions About Lincoln High School Thurs., Oct. 27 at 6:30pm in the Lincoln Library.  Lincoln High School is slated to open in 2019. Seattle Public Schools Director Rick Burke is organizing a forum for parents looking for more information.
    • Wallingford Waterways Walking Tour – Tentative Date: Saturday, Nov. 5th, 10:00am, meet at the Waterway next to Ivar’s Salmon House, tour to start about 10:15am.

Join us for an update on the “Gas Works Park Improvement” maintenance projects (comfort station, play area, east entry).

Monthly Meeting this Wednesday July 13 at 7PM

The next Monthly Meeting of the Wallingford Community Council will be held Wednesday July 13 at 7:00 PM in the Senior Center of the Good Shepherd Center, 4649 Sunnyside Avenue North (in the second week of the month to avoid the 4th of July holiday).

Note: WCC Monthly Meetings are usually held the first Wednesday of each month.
